During the Thanksgiving period, Biden has spent his time in Iowa, continuing in his attempts to gain support among the people and sidestep the disadvantages brought on by the media spotlighted candidates such as Clinton and Obama. In a recent appearance, Joe suggested his "Apollo Project" plan which addresses america's energy situation, and he likened his plan to the space race. It would be installed through his administration in the White House, and would be a 5 year, $50 billion dollar investment made in order to conduct all the research and production of technology it calls for to produce sources of alternative energy. The "Apollo Project" was part of a $60 billion, 8 point plan he discussed which concerned energy and gas emissions. It included claims of legislation limiting emissions, treaties limiting emissions in China and other foriegn powers, creation of green jobs, and other such conservation-minded points.
He is working for every vote he will get in the Iowa Caucus; it is a major stepping stone where Biden will have to prove whether he is in this race for reals-ys, or if he is just another name filling out the ballot. A failure in the early primaries and caucuses will not bode well for Biden's already slim shot at the Democratic Presidential Nomination, and he must do relatively well, placing in the top 3, to stir up any real national attention.

Joe Biden
During the past week, Joe Biden has been very busy. Among the many things he has done, he recently attended Democratic candidate debate at Drexel University. During the debate, many of Biden’s rivals agreed with what he had to say. Biden also recently called to expand the access of health coverage for adults and children. His plan will help improve coverage for accidents and illnesses, and will help to renew the health care system and encourage wellness. In order to provide health coverage for children, Biden plans to expand the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Biden also has created a plan for our situation in Iraq. He wants to bring our troops home without leaving chaos in Iraq. In order to do this, he intends to maintain a unified Iraq by federalizing it. This will allow breathing room between the Kurds, the Shiites, and the Sunnis within their own regions. A central government would need to be formed in order to control and to be responsible for the interests such as distribution of oil revenues and border security.
