Senator Joe Biden, a Democratic Senator representing Delaware for over a quarter century, has withdrawn his bid from the race for the Democratice Presidential nomination. He finished a distant fifth place, despite a final surge in donations and support. In addition, competitors admitted that pockets of Biden support did exist and could influence his race. In the end, all this proved trivial, as Biden drew just 1 percent of Iowan votes.
In addition, Biden released a Thank you video on his website thanking his supporters through this process.

Sen. Dodd has also dropped out of the race having received about 1 percent of the vote as well, though Dodd released a thank you to the Iowan before the caucus. After the caucus sen. Dodd headed home where a part was held for him, I wonder if Sen. Also had a party, even if he withdrew sen. Biden should be proud of himself, he did the bes he could and without the media frenzy on Clinton and Obama he could of done better.
